Hey friends! My name is Kristen Holliday, I’m the one behind the keyboard for Life With The Hollidays. I am from a small town in North East Texas. I am a stay at home mom to two sassy girls and married to my high school sweetheart. This is where the roman numeral comes into play in my logo ? I love a good DIY project and you’ll probably catch me in Lowes from time to time, or wandering the aisles of Target. I am a Disney fanatic! If I’m not working on a project you can find me snuggled up on the couch watching a Disney movie with the family!
If you looked up the word “frugal” in the dictionary…I would be shocked if my picture weren’t beside it! It drives my husband crazy sometimes, but I always tell him..”You make the money, and I figure out how to save it”! So, if we ever wanted something done, you better believe I was going to figure out how to do it on our own instead of hiring someone to do it for us! Working on projects in our home is a creative outlet for me, and I enjoy every minute of it! I had the idea of starting a blog for some time, but never really put much thought into it. We moved into the home we are in now January 2018, & that’s when our ability to DIY really started to shine! I have shared before & after pictures of some of the things we have done and it never failed… I would always have someone message me asking how I did this or that, which I loved! It showed me that people really liked what we were doing. So, that’s where the idea of starting a blog really came into play. I figured it would be so much easier putting it all into one place for everyone to read! I would love to know that I helped someone do something in their own home and save money in the process! Now, here we are with Life With The Hollidays!
